By using this website, purchasing our products, or using the York customer portal at
app.yorkwaterpurifier.com, you agree to these terms.

1. ABOUT US
York Water Purifier supplies domestic water purification systems, replacement cartridges,
installation and servicing in the United Kingdom and Thailand.

2. PRODUCTS AND PERFORMANCE
Our purifiers use food-grade materials and are designed for household drinking water on a
cold water connection. Do not consume water until initial flushing is completed by your
engineer.

Performance figures on this website are based on laboratory testing under controlled
conditions. Actual performance varies with local water quality, incoming supply, water
pressure and usage. We do not guarantee specific levels of TDS, PPM or pH.

Our purifiers are water filtration products. They are not medical devices, and we make no
claim that they diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

Products are intended for household and small office use. Large-scale commercial use voids
the warranty and requires a commercial system.

3. ORDERS AND PRICING
Prices are shown in the currency of your region and include applicable taxes where stated.
We may correct pricing errors and may refuse or cancel an order where a product is
unavailable or an error has occurred, refunding you in full.

Payment is processed securely. We do not store your full card details.

4. INSTALLATION AND SERVICING
Installation is carried out by YORK-certified engineers. Photographs of the installation
area may be taken to verify standards and assist future maintenance. These capture the
installation area only, such as under the sink. No photographs of individuals, pets or
household members are taken.

Relocating a purifier to another room or address is treated as a new installation and
additional charges apply. Where a system has been relocated without proper reinstallation,
the warranty may be suspended until it is correctly reinstalled.

5. WARRANTY
Self-installation: 12 months, manufacturing defects only.
Professional installation by YORK: up to 36 months on the Smart Water Purifier and up to
24 months on the Alkaline Water Purifier.
Warranty applies where the system is installed and maintained by YORK-approved technicians.
Filters are consumables and are excluded from warranty.

Each purifier includes four service visits over three years, approximately every eight
months, the first within 7 to 8 months of registration.

6. THE YORK CUSTOMER PORTAL
Your portal account is created automatically when you place an order. Access is by
one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that
email address secure.

Filter health readings, water quality indicators and delivery information in the portal are
provided for guidance based on your usage and service history. They are indicative and are
not a laboratory measurement of your water.

7. COMMUNICATIONS
We send transactional messages about your order, delivery, installation, servicing and
filter replacements by email, SMS, WhatsApp and in-app notification. These are service
communications, not marketing. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time
by emailing customerservice@yorksmartwater.com.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including text, photography, video, illustrations and the YORK
name and device mark, is owned by Yorkshire Springs Reservoir Ltd and may not be reproduced
or used commercially without written permission.

9. LIABILITY
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for
fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total
liability in connection with a product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where you purchase as a consumer
in another country, including Thailand, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer
protection provisions of your country of residence.

11. CHANGES
We may update these terms. The version published at the time of your order applies to that
order.
